U.S. 62 now open following diesel spill; road closed between Highland County and Russellville

CHILLICOTHE - According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, U.S. 62 in Brown County has been closed due to a diesel fuel spill. 
The route is closed between the Highland County line and Russellville. Motorists may detour via U.S. Route 68 to S.R. 125 at Georgetown or via state Route 247 at Seaman to state Route 125 at West Union in Adams County. 
It is not known how long the route will be closed, but it is anticipated to be closed throughout the morning and early afternoon.
CHILLICOTHE - According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, U.S. 62 in Brown County is now open, after it was closed for several hours due to a diesel fuel spill.ll. 

The route was closed between the Highland County line and Russellville. Motorists detoured via U.S. Route 68 to S.R. 125 at Georgetown or via state Route 247 at Seaman to state Route 125 at West Union in Adams County.
