In this role, Grooms will serve as a trusted local resource, working closely with members to provide personalized, hands-on support throughout the livestock marketing process.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Caleb Grooms as the new facility manager at our Hillsboro market,” said President and CEO Mike Bumgarner. “His experience, leadership, and dedication will be instrumental as he serves our members and livestock producers. We look forward to the positive impact he will make on our team and the community.”

Previously, Grooms worked as a farm production consultant and sales manager for Cherry Fork Feed and Supplies. He currently operates an Angus cow/calf herd and is the co-owner of Rocking BG Cattle Co., where they focus on raising Highland cattle. Grooms brings extensive cattle industry experience to his new role and looks forward to using his expertise to support and serve UPI members.

"I'm honored to step into the role of facility manager here in Hillsboro and continue serving the producers and members who make this market so strong,” said Grooms. “I want to sincerely thank Sam Roberts for his leadership and the example he’s set. His guidance has been invaluable as I take on this new opportunity."

Grooms currently resides in West Union. Outside of work, he serves as a Tiffin Township trustee and is an active member of the Adams County Farm Bureau. He is a former president of the Adams County Cattlemen’s Association and past vice president of the Adams County Chamber of Commerce.
