Tim Priest new senior lender at Wilmington Savings Bank

WILMINGTON – Timothy (Tim) Priest, 56, with two decades of area banking experience, has joined Wilmington Savings Bank as senior lender.

A lifelong resident of Highland County, Priest has been a senior executive or manager for several financial institutions, where he focused primarily on retail and commercial deposits and loan origination.

He graduated from Fairfield High School in Leesburg, has a bachelor’s degree in business from California Southern University, and also graduated from Hondros Real Estate College in order to become a licensed real estate agent.

“This was a good move for me to join Wilmington Savings Bank since it has had a strong local presence and been a landmark in the community since 1890,” Priest says. “Decisions are made locally by local people. Wilmington Savings Bank has a commitment to excellence and I am excited to be a part of the team.”

Priest and his wife, Sonja Priest, have a son, Tyler, daughter-in-law, Emily, and a granddaughter, Kierra. He enjoys music, particularly playing guitar and keyboards in The Blue Steel Band; weightlifting and sports of all kinds.
