Three arrested in Greenfield on drug charges

By
Greenfield Police Department-
On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 9 p.m., Greenfield police officers executed a search warrant on a residence at 448 Evans St., Greenfield. The department had conducted an investigation to obtain the warrant after receiving citizen complaints of suspected drug activity taking place there.

Upon entering the home, officers found three adults with significant amounts of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. Three young children found living in the home were removed and placed in the custody of relatives.

Arrested were Harold Wilson Davis III, 34, Greenfield, for possession of heroin in bulk amount; Shannon D. Hawkins, 30, Greenfield, for possession of heroin; and Amanda S. Farler, 23, Greenfield, for possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were taken to the Greenfield City Jail in lieu of bond, and additional charges are likely pending a review of the case by the Highland County prosecuting attorney.

Highland County Sheriff's deputies and Hillsboro police officers assisted with the execution of the warrant.
