Tech-T Productions to broadcast election results

Tech-T Productions along with Merchants National Bank will simulcast the results of this year’s General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
This live show will be hosted by “Chief” Jim Winner. The broadcast will start at 7:30 p.m. and can be viewed on channel 15 for local Time Warner Cable subscribers. Others may view the show by visiting around-hillsboro.com for the live internet stream.
“Ron Hennison, Jr. and I developed this type of high tech broadcast for a previous election, which produced a fantastic show,” said Terry Mikkelsen, owner of Tech-T Productions.
“We get updated digital results directly from the Highland County Board of Elections with the help of Steve Witham. "This year will be the first year that we also broadcast simultaneously over the internet. It should be a lot of fun for both the community and those in attendance.”
The broadcast will originate from the uptown Merchants National Bank, Main Branch, at 100 N. High Street in Hillsboro. The public is welcome to attend this special event.
The elected candidates of Highland County are encouraged to attend and be a part of this broadcast, whether they are up for election this year or in the coming years. (Visitors will need to enter at the N. High Street entrance as the rest of the bank will be closed.)
Refreshments will be provided by Ponderosa, Holtfield, Kroger, Pepsi, Speedway and Merchants National Bank.
Tech-T Productions has been in business since 1995, and has been operating in Hillsboro since 2002.
