Swearing-in ceremonies held for dog warden, deputy dog warden

The Highland County Board of Commissioners held swearing-in ceremonies Wednesday, Aug. 27 for Highland County Dog Warden Cathy Seifer and Deputy Dog Warden Gwendolynn Guthrie.

Seifer has served as dog warden since June 9, 2012, but had not previously had a swearing-in ceremony.

Guthrie was recently appointed to the deputy dog warden position.

Commissioner Tom Horst administered the oaths of office for each county official.
