SSCC Theatre presents Michael Frayn’s “Noises Off,” playing April 10-12 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday matinee begins at 3:30 p.m.

Called the funniest farce ever written,’ “Noises Off” presents a manic menagerie of traveling actors rehearsing a flop called “Nothing On.” As opening night looms, backstage chaos rivals the onstage antics, with missed cues, romantic entanglements, and misplaced props spiraling into comic disaster. Doors slamming, on- and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure into the plot of this hilariously chaotic and classically comic play.

The cast includes: Jacob Bice, Chelsea Brose, Camden Griffith, Benjamin Gullett, Leslie Holmes, Mark Holmes, Logan Savage, Madison Stanfield, and Matt Waits.

The production team includes: Rainee Angles (director), Brent Angles and Rainee Angles (production design), Zanna Eckman (costumes), Benjamin Gullett (public relations, sound design), Paula Campagna (stage manager).
