Secretary of State Frank LaRose announces start of early voting

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has announced the start of early voting for the 2025 general election.

“Running elections is about preparation, and Ohio’s bipartisan officials have done the work to ensure a secure and accessible election,” said Secretary LaRose. “I encourage every eligible voter to visit VoteOhio.gov and make their voting plan."

What voters need to know:

• Voters looking to take advantage of early in-person or absentee voting can visit VoteOhio.gov for hours, locations and deadlines.

• Ohioans interested in helping their friends and neighbors vote are encouraged to sign up to be a poll worker as soon as possible at VoteOhio.gov/BeAPollWorker.

• Election Day is November 4th, and polls will be open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

The Absentee and Early Voting Data Dashboard will be updated weekly, giving Ohioans unprecedented transparency and allowing them to better analyze early voting trends and statistics. Learn more about this tool and about our election transparency initiative at OhioSoS.gov/Data.
