During the December meeting of the Clermont County Republican Party, State Representative John Becker (R-Union Township) won the Party’s endorsement by an overwhelming 92.4 percent.

This was the highest percentage of any legislative seat among Congress, the Ohio House and Ohio Senate.

“It’s a good feeling to know that I have near unanimous endorsement of the Clermont County Republican Party,” said Becker.

“It is evident from this huge vote of support that what I am doing in Columbus is what I was sent there to do: Promote, support, and defend the conservative values of Clermont County.”

Representative Becker is also endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party. He has successfully filed his paperwork for re-election with the Clermont County Board of Elections and will be on the ballot in the March 15, 2016 primary election.

He represents the 65th District in northwestern Clermont County, which includes Loveland, Milford, Newtownsville and Owensville, as well as Goshen, Miami, Stonelick, Union and Wayne townships.
