CHILLICOTHE – Much like society itself, the speed at which health care moves today is astounding. Keeping up with new advancements in procedures and technology, utilizing new tools to communicate with patients, actively recruiting to bring those with exceptional skills to patient care, and expanding services are all essential in navigating a rapidly changing landscape to best serve the people of south central and southern and Ohio.

Area residents can play an important role this September in helping Adena Health do all that by grabbing a few friends, cleaning the dirt out of their sand wedge and teeing it up in the Adena Health Foundation’s annual Jack Berno Memorial Golf Classic. While enjoying a relaxing day on the links in the four-person team scramble event, they also can cherish the fact that every hook, slice, fairway hit and 30-foot putt sunk will help expand essential health care services to their family, friends, and neighbors.

• WHEN: Friday, September 27. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

• WHERE: Crown Hill Golf Club, Williamsport.

• HOW MUCH: $125 per person ($500 for a team of four). Entry includes greens fees, cart, a light breakfast, lunch, two drink tickets, and a door prize ticket per golfer, as well as giveaway items.

For those who don’t play golf but still wish to support the event and its commitment to expanding quality health care services in the community, several event sponsorship levels are available to consider, each carrying its own set of benefits.

To register for the event or sign up for a sponsorship, visit Adena.org/golf or call (740) 779-7528.
