The guest speaker for the evening will be Connie Pillich, an attorney from Cincinnati, a veteran and a former legislator. Pillich spent eight years on active duty in the Air Force and served in support of Operation Desert Storm. She achieved the rank of captain and is a three-time recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Pillich spent three terms as the voice of Ohio’s 28th house district. While in the legislature, Pillich convened the Veterans Caucus to highlight issues facing Ohio’s military community and introduced Ohio’s Veterans Bonus in 2009.
“Please come join us for an evening of good food, good political discussion and good fellowship,” Highland County Democratic Party chairperson Dinah Phillips said.
