OSHP investigates fatal motorcycle crash

The Xenia post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred over the weekend in Greene County.

Gerald W. Freeze, 49, of Springfield was pronounced dead by the Greene County Coroner's Office, after crashing on River Road, one mile east of S.R. 72 in Miami Township.

Freeze reportedly went off the left side of the roadway, into a ditch. and overturned. He was not wearing a helmet, the OSHP said.

The crash remains under investigation.[[In-content Ad]]
