Open house planned for Samaritan Outreach's Uptown Community Room

An open house for Samaritan Outreach's new Uptown Community Room will be held Friday, June 17 from 6-8 p.m. at 110 S. High Street in Hillsboro.

The growing Highland County Toys for Tots program is one of the many programs that will be housed in the new Uptown Community Room.

In this photo, Becky Barnes, Highland County Toys for Tots coordinator, and her husband, Todd Barnes, a former Marine, are pictured amid some of the toys collected for over 500 Highland County children last year.
