Open house to be held April 15 in honor of Donley

The staff of the Highland County Clerk of Courts Office will be an open house on Friday, April 15 in honor of Clerk of Courts Paulette Donley.
 
Donley will retire Friday after more than 22 years in the office. She announced her retirement to the Highland County Board of Commissioners on April 6. 
"This comes with a heaviness of heart," Donley told the commissioners. "I do love my work. I want to thank my staff and the previous staff for all they do, as we've been short-handed in the office."
The open house will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 
"All are welcome. Come and wish Paulette well in her retirement," the staff stated in a release. 
The Highland County Republican Party Central Committee is accepting applications and resumés for the position of Highland County Clerk of Courts. An appointment can be made to the position after April 15.
