By
-
In what many believe to be a first of its kind event in local political history, the Ohio Republican Party’s State-wide ticket candidates will be coming for a campaign rally event in Clinton County, according to Clinton County GOP Chairman Geoffrey A. Phillips.

This major campaign event will be Monday, October 25. Doors will open at 11:45 a.m. at the Historic Murphy Theater in Downtown Wilmington.

“Perhaps never before has Clinton County had such an extreme opportunity,” said Phillips. “Usually a rural area might attract one – maybe two – top ticket candidates. We look forward to welcoming area voters – some who may still be undecided – to hear our candidates’ tho ughts and ideas for leading Ohio.”

Joining together in this campaign appearance will be:
• Gubernatorial candidate John Kasich and
• Kasich's Lt. Governor teammate Mary Taylor

• State Treasurer candidate Josh Mandel
• U.S. Senate candidate Rob Portman
