ODOT treating area highways

ODOT District 9 crews are working Friday evening, plowing and treating the state highway system. Pavement condition varies from mostly snow covered to lightly snow covered, wet and slushy. Pavement that is wet will be slick and icy due to black ice and freezebacks. Crews will continue their efforts throughout the night; however, motorists must exercise extreme caution. Those traveling tonight should reduce their speed significantly and maintain a safe following distance, giving special attention to snow plows. Drivers should also be especially cautious when traveling over bridges and overpasses and in curves. [[In-content Ad]]
