Norm Ludwick of Sherwood Auto & Campers named Outstanding Fair Supporter
Lead Summary

By
-
Norm Ludwick, owner of Sherwood Auto & Campers has been in business over 40 years in Hillsboro and has supported the Highland County Fair and the young people in the 4-H and Jr Fair all of these years.
During the Fair each year, Norm has furnished to the fair, at no charge, many campers and RVs to use for portable offices, changing facilities for entertainers, rest stations for the community service groups such as the Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, Jr Fair, First Aid Station, fire departments, life squads and other groups that help with the fair.
In addition to furnishing the units, he brings them to the fairgrounds, sets them up, then after the fair closes, he returns and picks the units up. The campers and RVs that he has furnished over the years have been a tremendous help to the Highland County Fair, and on more than one occasion he has brought addition units to the fairgrounds on very short notice for entertainers and groups to use.
While Norm’s help and assistance has been invaluable to the Highland County Senior Fair, his support of the Jr. Fair Livestock sales over the years has been immeasurable.
"Norm has supported the livestock project sales for these many years and given back to the Highland County community and young people," said fair board member Dave Stratton. "His financial support of these sales is done with out fanfare and publicity. I doubt that many people in our county know the extent of Norm's support for the Highland County Junior Fair sales.
"It is with great pleasure, gratitude, deep respect and a tremendous “thank you” for the many years of support, that I take pleasure in nominating Norman (Norm) Ludwick as the “Outstanding Fair Supporter” for the Highland County Fair for 2009."
