The New Vienna Community Church will host the The Faith and Light Mennonite a cappella choir on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

The Faith and Light Choir, based in Leesburg and under the direction of Joshua Gingerich, consists of 27 members ranging in age from 15 to the early 50s. The choir features a close four-part harmony typical of the Mennonite worship service without musical instruments. Choir members will share their inspirational testimonies in word and song telling about their lives in Christ.

Pastor Dan Mayo shares, "This is our fifth year to host the Faith and Light Choir and every year the house is packed. It has grown in popularity with more response from the community each year. We often get people asking us when the Mennonites will be with us again. They are a delightful group of Christians with a large group of excited young people involved in the program. Refreshments will follow the program which gives everyone an opportunity for fellowship and to get to know the folks from choir more."

The church is located at 412 West Street in New Vienna and is a non-denominational ministry reflecting the Wesleyan tradition. For more questions or directions, call Pastor Mayo at 937-725-0445.
