New lab construction begins at Highland District Hospital

Lead Summary
By
Melanie Phillips-

We are pleased to announce that construction for the new Lab began Monday, July 19. The new Lab will be located in the space previously occupied by the Center for Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, on the HDH campus.
Upon completion, the new 2,900 sq. ft. space will house new testing machines and provide new tests in addition to our standard tests. These new tests include B12, folate, CEA, Hepatitis B surface Antigen, and a molecular diagnostics machine.
The contractor,  R.J. Beischel Building Company, anticipates that the project will be completed Nov. 1, 2010. Please pardon our untidiness during the construction phase, as we expand our services to serve our patients more efficiently.
