NCB ranked No. 7 for the 2015 Best Employers in Ohio

National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution that provides banking products and services to Southern Ohio and the nation's cooperatives, is pleased to announce it has been ranked seventh on the large companies list for the 2015 Best Employers in Ohio.

The annual list of the Best Employers in Ohio was created by the Ohio SHRM State Council and Best Companies Group.

This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

“Being named to the Best Employers in Ohio list is a great accomplishment for our company,” said NCB’s Ohio Co-Presidents Debra Jones and Chris Goettke.

“The level of compassion and dedication our employees show their communities is one of the many outstanding attributes they bring to work every day and is what makes NCB a unique financial institution,” added Michelle Ward, Sr. Vice President, Human Resources Manager at NCB.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Employers in Ohio. The first part, worth 25% of the total evaluation consisted of each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics.

The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Ohio and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
