National Family Caregivers Month proclaimed

Highland County Commissioners (front, l-r) Gary Heaton, Shane Wilkin and Tom Horst this week proclaimed the month of November 2010 as National Family Caregivers Month and encouraged all Highland County citizens to pay tribute to those who provide care for their family members, friends, and neighbors in need. Also pictured are (back, l-r) Jennifer Howland, a case manager at Highland District Hospital, Jacklyn Fite, a case manager at HDH, Martha Watkins, who requested the proclamation, and Jim Baer, CEO of Highland District Hospital. There will be a caregivers program on April 9 at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.
