 Under blue skies, with perfect weather, the 2010 Festival of the Bells drew crowds to uptown Hillsboro Thursday. The annual parade rolled through town, as hundreds lined the city streets. Christian music star Natalie Grant took the stage at 9 p.m., prompting the crowds that had filled High Street and Main Street raise to their feet. Many fans were singing along, screaming and holding their hands up in praise. 
 Festival of the Bells organizational committee chairperson Michael Bradford said day one of the annual event was off to a great start.
