More closings for Tuesday, Feb. 9 | The Highland County Press

Area students returned to the classroom on Monday, but not for long. A snowstorm that arrived a few hours earlier than anticipated has caused numerous school closings, including Hillsboro City Schools, Bright Local Schools, Fairfield Local Schools, Lynchburg-Clay Schools, Greenfield Exempted Village Schools, Highland County Christian School, Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Adams County/Ohio Valley Schools and others.

Today's storm system has already added two inches of new snow on top of last weekend's precipitation. A total of six inches of snow is in today's forecast, with some rain mixing in this afternoon. A winter storm warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10.
