Merchants National Bank donates $5,000 to Historical Society Capital Campaign

Merchants National Bank has made a $5,000 donation to the Highland County Historical Society’s Capital Building and Endowment Fund Campaign.

Bertha Hamilton and Bank President Paul Pence presented the check to John Kellis, Highland County Historical Society Board member and Campaign Chair, in the Hillsboro uptown bank lobby.

The Historical Society and Kellis thanked Merchants National Bank for its generous donation.

The Society has garnered about one half of the campaign goal to this point. The campaign will continue through the first half of 2016.

The Society wishes to thank everyone who has pledged their support thus far.
