McCall among top candidates for Hocking College president

Southern State Community College Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Ryan McCall is reportedly among the top finalists in Hocking College’s presidential search.
The Athens News reports that McCall is one of four candidates being considered for the position.
Dr. McCall has been employed at Southern State Community College since April 2007. He was formerly the Director of UB, UBMS and ETS at Shawnee State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in natural sciences. Dr. McCall received a master’s degree in biology from Morehead State University and a doctorate in higher education administration from Ohio University.

Located in Nelsonville, Ohio, Hocking College offers more than 50 associate degree programs and serves more than 3,000 students, according to their website at hocking.edu.
