Man pleads guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with minor, receives community control

An area  man who pleaded guilty in November to a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor has been sentenced to community control. 

James Anthony Price had pleaded guilty to the fourth degree felony charge, on which he had been indicted earlier this year, on Nov. 4. 

On Wednesday he was sentenced in Highland County Common Pleas Court by Judge Rocky Coss. 

Price was represented by attorney Randy Heath Dupree, and the state was represented by the Highland County Prosecutor's Office. 

Price was sentenced to four years of community control, 30 days in the county jail beginning Dec. 29, and to submit to an evaluation with the Scioto-Paint Valley Mental Health Center and to following their recommendations. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
