Main Street Downtown Greenfield

Main Street Downtown Greenfield has scheduled its Path to Freedom walking tour ribbon cutting for 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at Greenfield City Hall.

Greenfield's Path to Freedom project endeavors to illuminate the significant contributions of key individuals and locations in Greenfield that were pivotal in the abolitionist movement and the underground railroad.

The goal is to install historical plaques throughout the downtown and at various locations to narrate these powerful stories and highlight their lasting impact on the community.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate this meaningful community project.
