Main Street Downtown Greenfield celebrates with ribbon cutting

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Main Street Downtown Greenfield on Jan. 15 to celebrate the installation of the Path to Freedom Walking Tour. Main Street Downtown Greenfield is located at 324 Jefferson Street, Greenfield.

Main Street Downtown Greenfield, located in Greenfield, celebrated the installation of the Path to Freedom Walking Tour with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends, and members of the community on Jan. 15. Main Street Downtown Greenfield is located at 324 Jefferson Street, Greenfield.
 
The Path to Freedom Walking Tour is a nine-sign tour that begins with the map of the locations located at the town hall building. “Greenfield’s 1799 founders took up the prohibition of slavery that their faith demanded, and was set in the 1787 Northwest Ordinance.
 
Greenfield’s Path to Freedom is a journey continually calling every person and generation to action. Today, we take up our responsibilities to help everyone achieve their potential, to build a healthy, safe, and prosperous community for everyone.”
