Lynchburg woman gets 4 years in meth trafficking case
A Lynchburg woman indicted in connection with a Highland County Task Force investigation was sentenced last week to four years in prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges.
As previously reported, Brittany Henslee, 27, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in April on eight counts, including four counts of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, two second-degree and two third-degree felonies; and four counts of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, two second-degree and two third-degree felonies. Following the secret indictment, Hensley was one of seven individuals arrested in a subsequent roundup.
According to court records, Henslee pleaded guilty June 9 to the two third-degree felony trafficking charges, with the other six counts dismissed.
For those counts, it is alleged that on or about March 24 and March 26, 2025, Henslee “did knowingly sell or offer to sell [meth] … in an amount equal to or exceeding bulk amount but less than five times bulk amount.”
After accepting Henslee’s guilty pleas, Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced her to 24 months on each count, to be served consecutively, for a total of 48 months in prison. She had 62 days of jail time credit.
Henslee was also ordered to pay $1,100 in restitution to the Highland County Task Force.
As of this week, Henslee is incarcerated in the Ohio Reformatory for Women, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
