Lynchburg man arrested on drug-related charges

The Hillsboro Police Department and  the Highland County Sheriff's Office responded to 142 South High Street in Hillsboro Saturday, Nov. 27 in order to locate a suspect wanted on warrants.
   Officers located Stanley J. Lamb, 27, of Lynchburg.
According to a news release from the HPD, upon investigation, it was determined that Lamb was attempting to destroy a substance later identified as methamphetamine.
Lamb was arrested on an indictment for the assembly or manufacturing of methamphetamine in Clinton County. 
Additional charges will be filed, according to the HPD.
