Local farmers awarded free use of Kubota tractor
Ohio Farm Bureau’s Outstanding Young Farmers Nick and Jessica Dailey of Sardinia recently received a Kubota M-Series tractor to use for 250 hours, one of the prizes for being named the 2015 state contest winner.
“We are very appreciative of a business like Kubota showing young farmers like ourselves support, and that they care about helping the next generation,” Nick Dailey said.
The Outstanding Young Farmer award recognizes successful young farmers for achievements in the business of farming and leadership in the agricultural community. The Daileys also competed in the national Outstanding Young Farmer and Rancher contest at the American Farm Bureau annual meeting in Orlando in January.
“There is not a better investment than supporting and promoting young farmers on the cutting edge,” said Tom Beam, Kubota regional sales manager for western Ohio. “Kubota is committed to investing in young farmers and the ag industry as a whole as we continue to grow our business.”
The Daileys farm 1,800 acres of grain crops in Adams, Brown, Clermont and Highland counties. They also own a trucking company. They are 11-year members of Brown County Farm Bureau, where Nick has served on the board of trustees. Both are Sunday school teachers at Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church. Nick also serves as a Franklin Township trustee.

Their 250 hours free use of the M-Series tractor is courtesy of Kubota Tractor Corporation. They also received an expense-paid trip to the American Farm Bureau annual meeting courtesy of Ohio Farm Bureau and $1,000 in Grainger merchandise courtesy of Farm Credit Mid-America.

We appreciate Kubota's contribution and partnership as we recognize Ohio's top young farmers.”
