Leesburg Summerfest welcomes Eric Huff, Wyatt McCubbin June 19-20

Leesburg Summerfest 2015 will be Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20.

Visitors can look forward to some new fun activities this year such as a dunking machine, adventures in art, local singers Alexis Tompkins and Sean Poole, the car show at the Southern Hills parking lot, a parade and a lip-sync contest.

We will also be featuring country music artist Eric Huff Friday at 8 p.m. and country music artist Wyatt McCubbin Saturday at 8 p.m.

Also new this year will be a quarter auction on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds from the auction will help defray the cost of the festival.

Donations of items for the quarter auction are still needed as well as volunteers to help during the festival.

Friday

5:30 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting, Inflatables, Carnival Games, Craft Vendors, Adventures in Art;
6 p.m. – Alexis Tompkins (Music);
7p.m. – 4Given Gospel Quartet;
8-10 p.m. – Eric Huff (Country Music).

Saturday

7:30 a.m. – 5K Run registration, 8 a.m. – 5K Run;
9:30 a.m. – Quarter Auction at Community Room;
noon – Inflatables, Carnival Games, Dunking Machine, Adventures in Art;
noon – Car Show at Southern Hills Bank;
noon – Corn Hole Registration, 1 p.m. – Corn Hole;
1:30 p.m. – Kiddie Tractor Pull;
2 p.m. – Parade lineup, Craft Vendors;
3 p.m. – Parade; 
4 p.m. – Flipz (gymnastics);
4:45 p.m. – Little Mr. & Miss Leesburg;
5 p.m. – Lip-sync contest (three prizes);
6 p.m. – Sean Poole (Country Music)
