Leesburg Summerfest June 19-20

Mark your calendars for the Annual Leesburg Summerfest to be held June 19-20.

This year’s event will feature music by country artist Eric Huff and his band on Friday evening and the Wyatt McCubbin Band on Saturday evening.

During the day, there will be fun and food for one and all. This will include a 5K run/1-mile fun walk, parade, cornhole contest, pet contest, Little Miss and Mr. Leesburg contest, carnival games and inflatables for the kids, plus a kiddie tractor pull, and lots of other fun activities.

The Leesburg Firemen’s Association will be frying up their famous piled high fish sandwiches, plus there will be other food vendors there also. Craft vendors will be set up on Friday and Saturday.

We still have some spaces left for craft vendors, so if you’re interested, call 740-572-7097. For more information about the pet contest and the parade, call 740-466-2744.

New to the Summerfest this year will be a Car Show beginning at noon on Saturday, June 20 at the Southern Hills Community Bank parking lot. For more information on the Car Show or an application to display your vehicle, call 937-403-8083.
