Leesburg Lions Club 5K winners announced

Pictured are the winners of the Leesburg Lions Club 2016 5K race Saturday, June 18 at the Leesburg Festival.

In front, from left, are: Carol Grate, 23:27, first female over age 41 category; Alexis Tate 26:51, first girl ages 15-20; Griffin Friend, youngest runner; Cierra Colwell, 21:04 first female overall and winner of girls under 15; and Michael Hottle, 26:16 and male winner of age 21-40.

In back, Jeffrey Beery, 26:01, first boy in under 15 year-old category; James Cochenour, 19:07, first, males over 40; Bob Hottle, 33:30, oldest runner; Kelly Cox, 35:00, first female ages 21-40; and Noah Richmond, 17:51, overall winner and first in boys ages 15-20.
