Lebanon OSHP Post investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash in Warren County

LEBANON – The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a single-vehicle fatal traffic crash. The crash occurred May 24 just after 8:30 p.m., on state Route 48 southbound at mile marker 19 in Clear creek Township, Warren County.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2020 GMC Terrain, operated by Robert F. Brockman, 49, of Cincinnati, was traveling south on state Route 48 when the GMC traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree before overturning.

Mr. Brockman was the only vehicle occupant and was not wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by Clearcreek Township Police Department, Warren County Coroner’s Office, Clear Creek Fire Department & EMS, and Case’s Towing.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post.
