Lebanon OSHP Post investigating fatal traffic crash

Lebanon – The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle fatal traffic crash that occurred on Shaker Road near state Route 122 in the Township of Franklin, Warren County.

At 2:48 a.m., the Warren County Communications Center received a 911 call advising of a serious injury traffic crash on Shaker Road near state Route 122 in the Township of Franklin. Troopers from the Lebanon Highway Patrol Post were dispatched to the scene.

The investigation revealed a tan 2016 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling southbound on Shaker Road and traveled off the right side of roadway striking two mailboxes and overturned. The passenger was ejected from the vehicle and the driver of the Cruze fled the scene.

The passenger, Crystal Rains, 32, Lebanon, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
