Kasich, Taylor issue resolution honoring Black History Month

Governor John R. Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor have issued a resolution honoring February as Black History Month as it celebrates its 40th year.

An excerpt of the resolution reads:

 

[[In-content Ad]]“Black History Month was created to recall the struggles and challenges African-Americans have faced since the founding of our country and remember those who took a stand against hatred and prejudice by fighting for civil rights. We continue to recognize the valuable and lasting contributions African-Americans have made to all aspects of our society.”
