Kasich announces departure of longtime senior adviser

On Monday, Gov. John R. Kasich announced that Senior Adviser Jai Chabria, a key member of the governor’s executive staff from the beginning of the Kasich Administration in 2011, is stepping down from that position to return to the private sector.

“I am enormously grateful to Jai for his many years of friendship, counsel and outstanding public service to me and the people of Ohio,” Kasich said.  “While it is difficult to see Jai move on, I know that great things lie ahead for him in this next phase of his career. I look forward to our continued deep friendship.”

Chabria’s last day with the governor’s staff is Friday, Feb. 26.
