KAMP Dovetail

This year, KAMP Dovetail is celebrating 35 years of bringing together kids with disabilities and motivated volunteers to spend a fun-filled week camping and sharing time together.

This year's opening ceremonies were held Monday evening, as campers are sure to have a sweet time at “Candy Camp,” the theme for the 2016 camp.

Linda Allen, SATH executive director, invites the public to come out during the week of KAMP Dovetail, June 20-24 at Rocky Fork Lake State Park.

"We have lots of fun events planned for the week," Allen said and reminded the community that on Wednesday, June 22 at 7 p.m., the camp will hold their annual auction and carnival. If you have items to donate, bring them out to KAMP Dovetail before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The community is invited to bring a lawn chair and come out for a fun-filled evening.

For more information, call Linda Allen at (937) 366-6657.
