Jury trial for July 28 in Greenfield canceled

The jury trial scheduled for Wednesday, July 28 at the Highland County Court in Greenfield has been canceled, according to Clerk Ron Coffey.
Due to a problem with the telephone system, potential jurors may not be able to reach the court at the phone number they were given (981-2130). A message about the status of the trial can be heard on the court's main number at 981-2139, Coffey said.
The court also will reopen on Friday mornings beginning in August, with hours being from 8 a.m. to noon. This will coincide with the return of dispatching operations to the Greenfield Police Department and the reopening of the city jail facility, Coffey reported.[[In-content Ad]]
