John Becker sworn in as state representative

COLUMBUS — State Representative John Becker (R-Eastgate) yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 131st General Assembly by Treasure of State Josh Mandel.

He represents the 65th District in northwestern Clermont County, which includes Loveland, Milford, Newtownsville and Owensville, as well as Goshen, Miami, Stonelick, Union and Wayne townships.

“I’m looking forward to working with the new leadership and moving forward on behalf of the people of Ohio,” said Rep. Becker.

Prior to being a representative, Becker served eight years as a Republican State Committeeman, in addition to serving his county party since 1993.

The Representative and his wife live in the Eastgate area. They have one daughter and three cats.
