Honor Star Sales to Benefit Folds of Honor

Fifth Third Bank of Central Ohio has launched, "Honoring Our Veterans," to honor those in the area who have served our country in the armed forces.

In partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation, bank employees will lead appreciation efforts throughout the month of October.

Now through Nov. 6, Fifth Third Bank is selling paper star icons for a minimum donation of $1, with the proceeds benefitting Folds of Honor.

This organization provides scholarships to the families of soldiers who have been killed or wounded in action.

Last year, the effort raised $3,478 for Folds of Honor.

On the star icons, there is a place to write a veteran’s name who you want to honor.

These will be displayed in Fifth Third banking centers throughout Central Ohio, Southern Ohio and West Virginia.
