Historical Society's annual meeting Oct. 16

The Highland County Historical Society will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Highland House Museum at 151 East Main Street, Hillsboro.
     
While the meeting is open to the public, only members may vote on candidates.
     
There are no proposed changes in by-laws. Candidates will be introduced. Election results will be announced at the close of the meeting.
    
Reports will be given by the chairman of the Board of Trustees, treasurer and director. Updates will be announced on upcoming fall events.
