Hillsboro Ponderosa Restaurant prepares for annual Veterans Day event

Terry Cole's 1963 Chevrolet Impala is parked in front of the Hillsboro Ponderosa Restaurant for Veterans Day 2015 Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Each Veterans Day, the Hillsboro Ponderosa provides free meals for veterans during regular business hours.

Owners John and Andrea Holt and their dedicated staff provide meals to 1,200-1,400 veterans during this annual event. It is the restaurant's way of thanking all veterans for their service.
