By
-
On Oct. 26, John Davidson of Lynchburg advised he had been working on his truck at 226 East Lilly Street on Monday, Oct. 25. He had left his vehicle to get a part, and when he returned, he noticed that an unknown person removed two plastic tool boxes with a variety of tools valued at about $2,000 from the bed of his truck. This report remains under investigation.

At 3:15 p.m., the Police Department received a call from the Hillsboro Street Department in reference to a vehicle and building being damaged from the high winds. An eve gutter had been blown down by the wind storm, causing it to strike a black Dodge truck owned by a city employee.
