The following arrests and citations were reported by the Hillsboro Police Department.
Eleana Varger, Mt. Orab, for ACDA.
Liana Wise, Hillsboro, for bench warrant.
Mark Vaught, Lebanon, for bench warrant.
Gerald Flannery, Jr., Hillsboro, for menacing.
On May 10, Dale Zornes from Time Warner Cable reported a theft and vehicular vandalism to four of the company vehicles. Investigation showed that someone had trespassed into a fenced area and broken the passenger windows on four of the vehicles and stole several items of equipment used to complete a cable job. Estimated damage and theft is valued at $8,750.
On May 12, a resident in the 200 block of East South Street reported that someone had damaged their car. There were several scratch marks on the side and the hood of the vehicle. This appears to have been done by someone keying it. The windshield wiper was also broken off. Estimated damage is valued at $300.
