Hillsboro police reports

On Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 8:12 a.m., the department received a report of a burglary at 135 E. Pleasant St. Richard Phillips had called and reported that his residence had been entered. Several items were reported missing. The department is currently investigating this incident. If anyone has information on this burglary, please call the police department at 937-393-3411.

At 8:59 a.m., the department received a report of a crash on S. High
St. near Uhrig St. After an investigation, it was learned Hiromi Kinoshita of Hillsboro was operating a 2006 Honda and was stopped or stopping for traffic. Angela Huffman of Otway, Ohio was operating a 2002 Ford and was traveling behind the Honda. Angela could not stop in time and struck the back of the Honda. There were no reported injuries and both vehicles received light damage.[[In-content Ad]]
