Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

September 6

Jordan Bailey, 19, of Hillsboro was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.  

On Sept. 3 at approximately 3:51 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of a North High Street near Fenner Avenue for a report of a 3-car crash. 

Upon arrival, Travis Jones, 42, of Hillsboro was stopped in traffic when Vicky Beekman, 64, of Hillsboro failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead, causing her to strike Jones in a rear-end type collision, which then caused Jones to strike the rear-end of the vehicle in front of him being driven by James Damron, 70, of Logan. Minor injuries were reported on scene. Beekman was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
