Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

June 5

Dustin Routt, 41, of Midland was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a citation for obeying traffic control devices.

Maurice Estep, 57, of New Vienna was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a citation for obeying traffic control devices. 

Tessa Wiley, 39, of Leesburg was cited for driving under suspension.

On June 5, at approximately 11:08 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 300 block of North High Street for a report of a 2-car crash. Upon arrival, Martha Wheeler, 80, of Rush, Kentucky was stopped with traffic in the southbound lane of North High Street. 

William Bowman, 79, of Hillsboro was backing from a parking space and failed to see Wheeler. As a result, Bowman struck Wheeler. No injuries were reported on scene. Bowman was cited for improper backing.
