 Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

June 3

April Waugh, 45, of Hillsboro was cited for texting while driving. 
William Suiter, 40, of Peebles was cited for speed.

On June 1, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a 2-car crash. Tammy Hennison, 59, of Hillsboro was stationary facing Southbound at the intersection of North High Street and Hobart Avenue for a red traffic light. Jonathen Smock, 22, of Hillsboro was approaching the rear of Hennison when he failed to slow in time to avoid a collision, and struck Hennison on the rear bumper area causing property damage only. Smock was cited with for assured clear distance.
